CoinLudens Production — Third Release

“This might change the fundamentals of your coin magic.”

Following his acclaimed 2025 release ESPRESSO, which made a strong impression on the coin magic community, Ryuhei Muta returns with a brand-new collection.

This time, the entire project focuses on a single technique—one that he has kept secret for more than a decade.

The action itself is remarkably simple, yet it can be applied in countless ways, including transfers, vanishes, changes, and much more.

It may bring a change to your own coin magic as well.

That change might be small. But as coin magic enthusiasts, we know better than anyone that even the smallest change can make a tremendous difference.

Experience for yourself the moment your coin magic begins to change.

“In the long, rich history of coin magic, it is truly exciting — and a source of great pride — to see a groundbreaking technique, one that no one has ever conceived before, being introduced to the world.

It is highly angle-resistant, remarkably versatile, and above all, natural and free from any awkward or contrived movements.

This is certainly not a technique that can be mastered overnight. But precisely for that reason, those who take the time to practice it patiently and persistently will gain something of lasting value — an invaluable weapon in their arsenal of coin magic. I truly believe this is an outstanding idea.”

Yoshihiko Mutobe

“I cannot help but be astonished by this innovation, which shakes the very foundations of coin magic.

Virtually every coin routine can be improved with T.C.T. This is a must-learn technique.”

Ponta the Smith

“I’ve known him for many years, and I’ve had the privilege of watching T.C.T.—originally known as ‘Nagon’—being refined and developed over more than a decade.

The palm transfer used in Raven is truly beautiful, and the false move of apparently placing a coin under a card looks exactly like the real thing!

I still feel that this technique has so much more potential to explore.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone play with T.C.T. and discover something new of their own.”

Basic Move

This is the fundamental action behind T.C.T.

It can be applied to a wide variety of palm transfers, vanishes, and productions.

This section teaches the basic movement of transferring a coin between the fingertips and palm positions.

Techniques with T.C.T.

- Palm Transfer

Classic Palm ↔ Finger Palm / Classic Palm ↔ J.W. Grip / Kaps Subtlety

A collection of palm transfers.
Palm transfers can often betray subtle signs of secret handling. By using T.C.T., these tells can be reduced to an absolute minimum.
Palm transfers may seem like an understated application, but this is where the true essence of T.C.T. can be found.

- Coin Roll Subtlety

At first glance, it appears that you are simply performing a coin roll. However, T.C.T. allows several subtleties to be secretly incorporated into the action.
The coin is simply not where it should be—and that realization creates a uniquely satisfying moment of deception.

- Retention Vanish

A retention vanish utilizing T.C.T.
Compared with conventional methods, one of its greatest advantages is the freedom of movement it provides after the vanish.

- Retention Vanish Variation

A variation of the T.C.T. Retention Vanish.
This is a highly unconventional and bold approach that is sure to intrigue serious coin magic enthusiasts.

- One Hand Change

A one-handed change utilizing T.C.T.
It can be performed repeatedly, making it a highly practical and versatile technique.

- Steal

A coin is stolen from Heel Clip.
Compared with conventional methods, the steal can be executed with significantly less apparent contact.

- Click Steal + Application

A coin is stolen during the action of tapping the coins together.
The auditory illusion is extremely effective, making this a technique that is fascinating not only for the effect the audience sees, but also for the ingenious method operating behind the scenes.

- False Pocket Placement

A false placement performed during the action of apparently putting a coin into your pocket.
The illusion is extremely convincing and can also be performed with multiple coins.

- False Under Card Placement ver.1 / ver.2

A false placement performed during the action of apparently placing a coin beneath a card.
This has traditionally been a difficult action to make completely natural. By utilizing T.C.T., the placement becomes far more natural and convincing.

Effects with T.C.T.

◆ Coin Through Hand

A coin appears to melt straight through the back of the hand.
T.C.T. creates a seamless transition from the moment the coin appears to sink into the hand until its complete disappearance.
The Touchless R.O.P.S. Move is also naturally integrated into the flow of the routine, creating a highly convincing and deceptive illusion.

◆ Raven

A sleight-of-hand interpretation of the classic Raven effect.
An unusual production, a striking vanish, and clever handling made possible by T.C.T. combine to create a sequence capable of catching even magicians off guard.

◆ Purse Frame Routine

A one-coin vanish and production routine using a purse frame.
The first vanish is particularly striking, with a method so deceptive that the more knowledgeable you are about coin magic, the harder it becomes to determine where the coin has gone.
The routine also features a highly visual vanish utilizing Pit Trap.

◆ Squeeze Vanish

The coin vanishes as though it is being crushed between the fingertips.
Clever handling made possible by T.C.T. eliminates the need for awkward movements after the vanish, resulting in an exceptionally clean and striking disappearance.
This is also one of Ryuhei’s personal favorites, which he regularly performs in his own repertoire.

◆ Coin Roll Change

During a single coin roll, a silver coin changes into a Chinese coin, then immediately into a copper coin.
The entire sequence is performed with ungimmicked coins. T.C.T. allows multiple coins to be secretly managed, creating a smooth and visually striking sequence of transformations.

◆ Turnover

Something invisible is plucked from the air and playfully rolled between the fingertips—until a coin suddenly appears.
As the coin is once again casually manipulated at the fingertips, it disappears just as mysteriously as it appeared.

◆ Fake Eating
You eat a coin.
It is an extraordinarily convincing illusion—the coin genuinely appears to go straight into your mouth.

◆ 3 Coins & 1 Card

Three coins placed beneath a card travel one at a time into the hand.
T.C.T. is used extensively throughout the routine, but never simply for the sake of using it. Every application appears exactly where it belongs, at exactly the right moment, resulting in an exceptionally clever construction.
